well,i cannot say much about this movie.its another Vijay movie. Vijay is playing as Kuruvi,little did he know whats the exact meaning of Kuruvi,he chases after Trisha for a diamond.and like every movie there's a head villain and followed by other small villains. Trisha is coming as a Malaysian girl,there isn't anything for her to act in this movie!!The hero tries to save the poor kids and people from the big villain whom tries to slave the people.(i wonder whether such places with slaves exists in 2008!) Another thing which made me watch the movie is Vivek's comedy. if not for that , i would have slept. Kuruvi ?what is the meaning of that in this movie?!!

First Let me start of by telling that Dharani was one of my favourite Directors in the Tamil Industry. I saw Dhool, Dhill, And Gillie. Everything was so different and so good in everyway that I expected so much for Kuruvi. I was really disappointed. I mean, the same Gillie team was gonna work together and how can you NOT expect it to be Excellent? I bought the songs CD before the film and I liked some of them. (I wouldn't say LOVED them).
I would say that the comedy was very good. Every second in the first half was something hilarious. The film went on a litte smooth. BUT after the intermission, the film serious;y started sucking. It also sucked a few minutes before the Intermission.
And one more thing about the film. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE.....every part where Vijay shows his action is terrible. Its like he is escaping the villains and is jumpin on roof tops. He is better than Batman. now the villains are really close to him so has to do something out of the blue to escape (even though he smashed these people in Malaysia and almost killed everyone of them). So then he spots a train running about like 100 metres from him. He leaps from the roof top and lands on the track. and as soon as the train gets close he jumps on it and escapes. Suddenly he becomes superman strong and fast enough to jump (although not fly) 100 metres distant and still get on the train. More rubbish like this is in the film.
If your a DIE HARD Vijay fan then you might like it. But other than that its just plain crap.

Whats is Good About the Movie? ... Nothing. The movie is a taken from Telugu Flick - Chatrapathi. Even the Telugu Mixture was done badly compared to the Original. Aleast now Vijay have to re think about doing movies like Sivakasi, Aathi, and Kuruvi. With Movies like Gilli, Thirupaatchi, and Pokkiri even though they were just another mixture of Masala, it also contains Good songs, Comedy and a Fast Screenplay. The Plus Points of the movie (Kuruvi) is some good and cool Dance (first Song, Pallanadu etc..). Vivek is overacting as usual. The Expectation was high because of the combination Dharani - Vijay - Trisha, its a big Disappointment.
