Etta Candy is a character from the comic books. However, the modern version in that medium is a heavy set military officer with short curly hair who quickly becomes a respectful friend of Wonder Woman.

Goofs:

Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Ares increases his power, he boasts he is as strong as Hercules. That is the Roman name of the demigod while all other mythical figures in the film are identified by the proper Greek names of Greek mythology. Though technically the proper name of Heracles would have applied, the source material of the comics has a long of intermixing the names of Roman and Greek deities in The Pantheon.

Another excellent DC adaptation...

Well cast and with a terrific sense of humor, this animated version of the legend of Diana Prince will do until the big screen adaptation is finally made. This version of the story follows the young princess of Paradise Island as she fights the god Ares as he tries to destroy humanity and bring a new age of darkness upon the Earth. The story is well animated and has plenty of action for the fans. The voice cast is top notch, with special kudos going to Rosario Dawson and Nathan Fillion.The script is also remarkably witty. I found myself laughing out loud as the various characters trade quips. A word of warning to parents, this version of the story should be perfect for those young people 10 and over.
