Fun ride...

I had a chance to rent comedy, Batman, Daredevil, Foreign "film", a chick flick, a martial arts movie.

But I chose Joyride 2.

It was the right thing to do. Why do these movies work? Because it combines our love of the familiar with suspense. Nobody can say this movie is predictable, and when the thrills come, they come fast and hard. That's what makes this "schlock" so appealing to us. We want those teens to suffer; I mean who do they think they are, anyway? "Rusty Nail" is back, and makes these young people suffer for our pleasure. Like eating a whole carton of ice cream, or having sex with a prostitute, after it's over you won't say "I'm glad I did that", but you'll definitely have fun doing it.
