As the title kind of hints, this isn't one of the better-written stories but it offers the usual tremendous visuals. The photography, camera angles and incredible colors make this a show to watch on DVD. I wouldn't watch it any other way, expect when re-runs are shown in HD on TV. I don't watch much TV anymore but it's hard to imagine a television more colorful, literally, than this one.
This particular episode is another one of these "pushing the envelope" shows in which some sexy scenes are things you wouldn't see a few years ago on television. It makes we wonder what's in store several years from now. I'm thinking mainly of a "gentlemen's (a.k.a. strip) club scene with two women. Later, with a twist that involves the Major League baseball star, is not exactly in good taste, either.
Whatever. The story is about that baseball star getting married in a nice outdoor setting and his bride being shot right before the "I do's." The bullet goes through her fake diamond veil (the agent had the real one worth millions as back payment) and the CSI team has to figure out who killed the woman. It becomes apparent she was an accidental killing as the bullet ricocheted and killed her. Who was the target and who was the shooter? The best thing was how the bullet was fired and the worst thing was the lame explanation of the why it was done. Oh, well, at least show looked good.
