As far as I know (although I keep hoping they'll surprise us), neither Channing Tatum nor Jenna Dewan are in the third installment of the extremely popular 'Step Up' franchise they started in 2006. Regardless, I'll be one of the first in line with glasses in hand to see 'Step Up 3D' when it hits theaters next August.
'Step Up 3D' takes the dance battling global; The story follows a passionate, tight-knit group of street dancers (featuring Rick Malambri and Sharni Vinson with the returning actors Adam G. Sevani and Alyson Stoner) who find themselves pitted against the world's best breakdancers in a high-stakes showdown.

I just wanted to remind all of Channing Tatum's fans in Australia that his action film, 'Fighting', just premiered in your country on Today!!!
You can get more info on the film on the Australian site TheCIA.com, and Click Here for screening times in your area.
Fans can check out tons of photos from the film in the CTU Photo Gallery, and you can also watch trailers and cast interviews on CTU's Youtube channel.
What's up next for 'Fighting'? The movie will have it's next theatrical release in Germany on September 10, 2009.

DVD Tuesday April 28th, 2009 Battle in Seattle, 2008 Loosely based on the Wto (World Trade Organization) Ministerial Conference of 1999, Battle in Seattle creates a multiple protagonist perspective during the five days of protest within the streets of Seattle. While making his directorial debut, Stuart Townsend (actor turned director) apparently had a lot to say about the events surrounding the Wto conference, as he not only directed this film, but also wrote and produced it. For a first time director, Townsend ultimately did a good job, as the films execution worked on multiple aspects in production: from writing to directing. In fact, I believe it is the writing of Battle in Seattle that truly captures the sentiment of the film. The movie is based on the true story of the 1999 Wto protests in Seattle. 'Battle in Seattle' stars Martin Henderson, Michelle Rodriguez, Woody Harrelson, Charlize Theron, Andre Benjamin, Channing Tatum, Jennifer Carpenter, and Ray Liotta.

In case you missed the update I added to a recent post about the DVD and Blu-ray release of Channing Tatum's drama 'Battle in Seattle'...Sources at Redwood Palms (the production and distribution company for the film) are now saying that the release date for 'Battle in Seattle' has been moved back to March 10th, and the film has updated their official MySpace page to reflect the new date. Sorry for the confusion, but hopefully this new old date will stick this time.

As I mentioned in a recent post, Channing Tatum's drama 'Battle in Seattle' will be released on DVD for rental Exclusively at Blockbuster Video on January 27, 2009 and will be available for purchase on March 10, 2009.
On this post you can check out the new cover art for the DVD, and you can also now go to Amazon.com to pre-order the new Battle in Seattle DVD.
As I mentioned before, there are also plans for a 2-disc special edition DVD in March as well, and I will provide details for that as soon as I get them. In the mean time, you can get the details on the special features that will be included on the regular DVD below:
