Bones deals with the remains of a woman whose body is found in the bay, along with the remains of an infant that turns out not to be hers. Booth goes in search of the husband, who has vanished. Things get even more complicated when it is discovered the woman did not die in salt water. And Bones clashes with Cam yet again. The plot line is based on the Lacey Peterson case. The killer is revealed a tad early, unfortunately. But this gives Bones an opportunity later to ponder the mysteries of motherhood.
