*** This review may contain spoilers ***
After viewing all the episodes (DVD) of season 1 and season 2 we were shown a not too obvious "hint" of how "Twilight" would end at the very beginning of "Reveille".
When I saw it (episode 1.23) it just seemed like a bad dream.
"Bete Noir" (i.e. nightmare) is also a recurring reference. The term gets mentioned in 2 episodes as well as being the title of one episode.
I don't want to spoil things for anybody that hasn't seen this episode.
Let's just say that NCIS as a series is much more realistic than most TV series are. The "good guy" does not always win in the end.
Sad but true.
I think that is why I feel that NCIS deserves such high marks and is worthwhile recommending to others. The pace is much faster than most TV shows. There is never a dull moment.
