Quotes:
Dr. Temperance Brennan: I've been thinking about your whole "something stinks" aptitude.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: Oh yeah?
Dr. Temperance Brennan: I think you have a subconscious knack for reading body language. Stress in the voice, other subtle yet discernible indicators. It's not mysterious, but it is impressive, and in the future...
[deep breath]
Dr. Temperance Brennan: ...I will try to accord it an appropriate degree of objective worth.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: Thank you, Temperance. I appreciate that. So, uh, what part of "this is mine" did you not understand? Have to say it in Latin?
Dr. Temperance Brennan: [gets up slowly, smiling slightly, and hands him the access pass he wanted while saying] Absit invidia.

The body of a student at a posh private school is found hanging from a tree. B&B aren't so sure it was a suicide, and pretty soon, with the help of Brennan's team, it's evident it wasn't. Sex tapes and something far worse turn out to be involved. Snooty school officials rub Booth, a public school grad, the wrong way. Brennan shows her usual lack of decorum and tact by letting the school head know that Booth doesn't like him. Truth is, Booth isn't much more tactful when he tells the guy he may just take him down to FBI HQ in handcuffs. A dark, early episode with more than its share of zingers and barbs. Booth is pushing for an access card to Brennan's lair while she's pushing for her own gun.
