B&B investigate the death of a young boy who disappeared from a mall and whose body turns up in a nearby field. It takes a bit, but the team realizes he was crushed to death in some manner they have trouble understanding. Then it's a case of figuring out who grabbed the kid from the mall. The killer is given away early, unfortunately. The twist to the episode is that the boy came from a family with a single mom and two other boys -- all of them foster kids. And this has a serious bearing on the case, as Dr. Brennan intuits. She reveals quite a surprise to Booth near the end. A very depressing episode. A nice touch at the end had the boss telling one of the team, who is thinking of quitting, how valuable her job is to the team.
