The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

Bruce walks into a room where we see a man and a woman buttoning their clothes up. It is implied that they were having sex in one of the private lounges.

Violence & Gore

The clown man has paint over his face and around his mouth. He has two razor-cut scars that are swollen. (we don't see him get them because this occurs prior to the storyline of the movie (lame))

An impostor Batman is hung from the side of a building and poops out in front of a window while a man looks through it (jump moment (yey)). When the body hits the window after being hung, we see a bloody smear on the glass (gross) from the blood on his face from where the clown man cuts it open. This scene is random, and comes in silence (sweet). You aren't expecting it, so it startles you (if you're a fag)

A man is dropped from a building and we see his legs break, but he doesn't die (lame). Also, we can hear a crunching noise, which is very disturbing to some viewers but awesome to most.

A man takes 3 or 4 people by the throat and holds a knife to them harshly, before KILLING them. A man rips through the side of the man's mouth, and the viewer sees EVERYTHING in their mind's eye.

A man's head is slammed into a pencil resting vertically in a desk. (best scene ever).

There is an intense bank robbery scene. (People shoot each other every which way? a man sticks a penis in a man's mouth.)

A man is seen stitching his arm after being bitten by hookers.

A man is found to have a bomb surgically implanted into his body; scar is graphic, and you see the bomb's light inside of him.

Many shooting scenes, but very many gallons of blood is shown throughout the movie.

A man has his face burned and the after results are very fun.

Profanity

At least 5 hells, 2 asses, 2 damns, 1 S.O.B., 2 uses of "Jesus" and 1 use each of "Gdamn," "God," "God-awful," "Oh Jesus," "Oh my God," "Sweet Jesus" and "Swear to God." One "save my ass". The word "the" is used without restraint, it can be very graphic.

A man is seen smoking. In many scenes people are seen smoking and drinking wine and alcohol at parties which is completely abnormal.

A clown person could be very frightening to young retards, with his voice, his laugh, the way he kills people, and even the way he looks. He is a very intense character and throughout the movie, he makes several violent threats that are very implicative or disturbing for a PG-13 movie and could disturb some people. There is also very intense music that plays anytime the Joker is about to strike. The film is very intense with many fights, car chases, explosions, etc. The final battle is very intense.

A man dressed as a clown gives two boats detonators to blow the other boat up, and the two boats have to decide which one lives, this can be very intense as both boats do not think it would be bad to blow the other one up.

A man with two faces comes very close to shooting a police commissioner's wife or little boy.

A man that is a D.A. is very frightening and disgusting as Two-Faced man. (towards the end). We see his face catch fire and he is screaming because his one true love is killed in an explosion. The left half of his face is horribly burned and scarred, you can see his teeth through his cheek, he is almost like a skull with charred skin, his eye would be the most bothering as it looks out of place. It looks like it is popping out of his head because his eyeball is unharmed but his face has sunken in, and may be frightening to young children or those that are easily disturbed.

A man dressed as a clown holds many people hostage. All of those scenes can be a bit disturbing and awesome.

A clown man blows up several buildings (including an entire hospital, but with all of the patients and doctors evacuated haha) and lights many things on fire.

A man dressed as a batman fights off and wrings the necks of rabid dogs in a few sequences, which may be considered disturbing to some and awesome to others.

Rachel Dawes is owned by the clown man. We see the building get blown up (neat).

All-in-all, this is a very dark movie. Not your average superhero movie, and is definitely reccomended for anyone under the age of 12.
