• Anachronisms: In the opening scene, the two soldiers fire over 200 rounds from their pistols without reloading.
  
  
• Anachronisms: Although the retrieval team is billed as "US Navy SEALS," they are addressed in the military ranks (such as "captain" and "major") used by the Army, Air Force & Marine Corps.
  
  
• Factual errors: The commando leader refers to his helicopter as a "Huey," the nickname for the single-rotor UH-1, but the helicopter depicted is a twin-rotor CH-47 Chinook.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: When the group is in a open field and attacked by the robots, they run to hide behind a boulder. When they run around behind the boulder and grab the side it rocks. Revealing it is likely Styrofoam.
