Review
The Showtime drama charts the parallel rise to power of two brothers from an Irish working-class neighborhood in Providence, Rhode Island: Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke), a family man and rising state legislator not above pulling strings to help his real-estate business, and Michael, a street thug who returns home after seven years and starts negotiating his rise through the local underworld. They turn out to have more in common that Tommy is willing to admit. Fionnula Flanagan is the family's manipulative matriarch, Annabeth Gish is Tommy's unhappy wife and Ethan Embry and Kevin Chapman co-star.
