Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There is a scene in which a couple kiss passionately. They then wake up in the morning next to each other in a bed and it is assumed that they had sex. Thereafter, the band members proceeded to pour alcohol on the female. When they both get up they're fully clothed.

Violence & Gore

Some mild bullying. 2 realistic fights between two men arguing. A man grabs a child and pushes him aggressively against the wall. A child smashes a guitar over a man's head.

Profanity

"Shit", "damn", are used some times and "Go-damn" and "crap" are used once.

Heavy drinking by the Irish band members led to fights.

Robin Williams's character becomes a little threatening in some places. A child is put in some threatening situations, like being chased by a threatening character. The whole movie deals with mature themes about people on the streets, not knowing who your parents are and the stress of finding your son.

Robin Williams plays the role of an an abusive man who exploits his little orphanage for their music abilities.
