Dempsey's Wife Co-stars In Fragrance Campaign

20 hours ago | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Patrick Dempsey has persuaded his wife to be his latest co-star - for a steamy new fragrance campaign.

The Grey's Anatomy hunk rejected a string of leggy models for the launch of his second fragrance with Avon, Patrick Dempsey 2, and decided he'd rather shoot with his wife of 10 years, Jillian.

The stylist appears by his side in the sunset beach shots - and Dempsey admits he cringed at the idea of appearing to get intimate with a stranger for the campaign.

He tells People.com, "I don't feel comfortable having a model in (the ads). I'm married, and that's not something I want to project... (I thought) Why can't I just use my wife and make it about that? It was a nice moment for us to be together." »

Spoiler Chat: Dexter Will Make You Lose Your Mind

Dexter is "ridiculous!" This just in from Michelle in Toronto, who is only about the (oh, let's see, carry the one and we've got) gazillionth fan to email today about  Dexter. Thankfully, she means ridiculous in a good way. And luckily for you all, we are similarly obsessed and just got what may be a big spoiler on the final two episodes from Dex's show runner Clyde Phillips. (Disclaimer: It is only a short tease, but it is spattery enough you might want to wear protective gear.) As for what's next for Chuck and Blair on Gossip Girl, Wilson on House and Owen and Cristina on Grey's Anatomy, we've got a little scoop on that, too. Trent in Salem, Ore.: How I... »

Grey's Anatomy: Cristina and Owen to Stay Happy?

21 hours ago | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Miss the gloomy, cynical, dark and twisty Cristina (Sandra Oh)? As Grey's Anatomy takes a rather extended holiday break and return next year, prepare to miss her some more, because Grey's Anatomy executive producer reveals that things look rather peaceful for her and otherwise intense boyfriend Owen (Kevin McKidd) at least for the mean time.

"I love Owen and Cristina too," she says. "A ton of Owen and Cristina stuff is coming up. In January. When we air again."

question of the day: How has the new shape of prime-time changed your TV viewing?

30 November 2009 7:46 AM, PST | www.flickfilosopher.com | See recent FlickFilosopher news »

An Associated Press story yesterday about the terrible performance of Jay Leno’s primetime show revealed some intriguing tidbits about how television viewing is changing in the United States: With one-third of American TV households now equipped with DVRs like TiVo, the 10 p.m. hour is emerging as a popular time for people to catch up on what they missed earlier in the evening, or earlier in the week. ... For example, many people watch CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" Thursdays at 9, tape ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" at the same time, then watch the medical soap an hour later, he said. They may tape "The Mentalist" (Thursday at 10) for later viewing. One casualty of growing DVR usage is that Friday nights, home of "Medium" and "Ugly Betty," are becoming a TV wasteland because so many people are catching up on programs they missed during the week. First 'Grey's Anatomy' Webisode: What Did You Think?

26 November 2009 2:23 PM, PST | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Alas, no new Grey's Anatomy webisode tonight. After last week, the next one airs next week. As we previously reported, filling in the gap until Grey's Anatomy returns next year are little five-minute webisodes to be made available on the ABC website also on Thursday nights.

The first Seattle Grace: On Call webisode aired last week, to not so great reviews, ranging from lame to outright disinterest. We can actually see why.

'Grey's Anatomy' Most DVR'ed Show This Season

25 November 2009 2:36 PM, PST | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

As most shows close off their seasons at least for the holiday break, ABC medical dramedy Grey's Anatomy tops the list of programs that people regularly record on their DVR's, with some 3 million viewers added to conventional ratings figures every week.

Other than Grey's Anatomy, the other shows that benefit heavily from delayed viewing via DVR including The Mentalist, NCIS, and House, programs that are notably not doing bad in the ratings department. On the other, in terms of percentage of viewers gained compared to conventional ratings, canceled Dollhouse and Fringe top the list dominated by cable shows. The others include Gossip Girl, Smallville, Melrose Place, and rookie comedy Glee.

Private Practice Spoilers: KaDee Strickland Teases McSteamy Crossover

Private Practice is about to get a whole lot McSteamier.

As you probably know by now if you're a fan of the ABC Grey's Anatomy spinoff, somebody from that show is traveling to L.A. from Seattle to appear in an upcoming episode.

That someone has ties to star Kate Walsh (Addison).

“You’ll get a taste of what you love with Addison and Sloan [Eric Dane],” Kadee Strickland, who plays Charlotte, told TV Guide. "We know their relationship is never simple."

Their relationship, as well as the upcoming crossover is, however, "always fun to watch. They have great chemistry together. It’s really cool having him come over.”

What was it like having Dane on their set for a change?

“He kept saying, ‘Everyone’s so nice!’ I think it’s great, You never know, because he has his home [at Grey’s Anatomy]. I’m sure he feels safe and nice there and now he gets to come over. »

Grey's Anatomy Review: Left in a "Holidaze"

20 November 2009 5:21 AM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Grey's Anatomy attempted to cram all the holidays into one episode last night, and while there were the predictable high points, there was also plenty that fell short.

If you missed any of the drama, here's a recap of "Holidaze." Now, here's a look at what worked and what didn't on Thursday evening, because each is a long list ...

Hits

Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd as Teddy and Owen. While some of their dialogue was schmaltzy, they were believably awkward, conflicted and unsure what to do about their feelings for each other. Sandra Oh's Cristina fits into this story well, too. Derek and Arizona. Their efforts to save the boy and do whatever it takes - at their own expense - pretty much solidified them as the coolest people ever. Bailey and her dad. We have issues with the fact that Bailey's personal life is rarely, if ever discussed, »

Review: Grey's Anatomy - Holidaze

20 November 2009 12:20 AM, PST | AOL - TVSquad | See recent AOL - TVSquad news »

(S06E10) In the last episode of 2009, Grey's Anatomy combines Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years all in one eventful episode. I'm still not in the holiday mood, but the show got me there, except for the fact that they played Christmas music on New Years. Christmas music should stay between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What happened to Alex in this episode? This would probably be the hardest time for a husband who doesn't have his wife for their first Christmas together. Wasn't he invited to Christmas Dinner? At least Meredith could have mentioned that he was stuck at work?

It premiered tonight 10:00 Pm Et, immediately following the latest episode of Grey's, which featured promo for the new sidekick. With 'Lost' on Tuesdays, Where Can 'Fringe' Go?

The following article was originally posted on Walter'sLab.com by Sam McPherson. You can read the original article there.

It's no secret that the Thursday 9pm timeslot just isn't working for Fringe. While the show's sophomore season is receiving absolutely stellar reviews from critics all around, viewership just isn't up to par with what it was during the show's first season. That's mostly due to Thursday's overcrowdedness — FlashForward, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, and The Mentalist all air on that night. For the entire season, viewers have been calling for a move to Tuesday night for the show.

Then along came ABC and threw a wrench into all those plans. J.J. Abrams' other series, Lost, is set to return to ABC for its sixth and final season, though it'll be taking up residence alongside the season's biggest new show V for the Tuesday night block. That would put it in direct »
