Trivia:

Yunjin Kim originally read for the character of Kate. The producers felt she was not what they were looking for in Kate, but decided to create a new character for her, along with a spouse.

Goofs:

Continuity: In the first season when we flash back to Locke's life before the island, we hear him on the phone with a woman named Helen who tells him she likes him, but she can't get involved with her clients. She also mentions that they had been speaking for only a few months. Later in the series, we find that Locke was romantically attached to a woman named Helen to whom he proposed.

Something to look forward to

The concept of people being stranded on an island in this age of technology would almost be impossible to believe. However, the writers have done an excellent job of making it seem plausible. Add the mysterious elements of the island and give the victims of the plane crash a reason to be afraid (of more than just the idea of being stranded there for who knows how long). Spending time getting to know each individual character is a great idea, however, I would like to see some episodes without that. I don't think it's necessary to get to know each character so intimately in the first season. Lost is the best new show. Finally, something to look forward to each week!

Hopefully it will be around for a while. It seems like all the good shows end up getting canceled and all the garbage stays. Good luck Lost!
