Revealing mistakes: When Tessa plays a QuickTime movie, the movie's counter stays at 0:00 and the progress indicator doesn't move.
Continuity: When Sandy and Tessa are talking in Sandy's office, the cricket ball on his desk vanishes, then reappears in a different location.
Crew or equipment visible: When the desert raiders storm the tiny village at the end of the movie, a fire sprinkler can be seen ejecting flames inside the hut.
Factual errors: Arthur Hammond would not be allowed to accompany Justin to the Eurostar train. Eurostar has an airline-style check-in procedure, and only passengers holding tickets can reach the platforms.
Factual errors: When Quayle shows the fake ID to the German police officer in Berlin, it is a Dutch passport. However, when he pockets the document again, it is shown to have a blue cover. Dutch passports have a red cover.
Continuity: When the turbo prop plane is making a drop into the village, the two pilots push the yoke forward. That would cause the plane to pitch down, however, the plane is clearly climbing when the drop is made.
Revealing mistakes: When Justin is in Germany, and he walks up to a crossing, the camera pans by two mature female extras. One stares right into the camera and sticks her tongue out.
Crew or equipment visible: As Justin enters his Berlin hotel room, the shadow of the crew can be seen moving across the door.
Continuity: When Justin's High Commission colleague is putting the tape on the cricket bat handle, he has taped different amounts on in the two shots (front and back) in which it is shown.
Anachronisms: Tessa's laptop was clearly a Apple Power Book running Mac OSX, however, during the montage where she was viewing video clips from the web, one set of movies had Windows XP graphics.
Revealing mistakes: When Justin goes to the morgue to identify Tessa's body, there is a body of a boy behind him. After Justin identifies Tessa's body, the "dead" boy's right toe moves.
Miscellaneous: In the credits at the end of the film, "Editing" is spelled "Edting."
Factual errors: Computer monitors do not produce focused images.
Factual errors: When Tessa is videochatting (under Windows XP) the FFWD/REW controls are clearly visible in the interface. Above the video a text can be read "Buffering 500 mbps", a speed which is impossible to achieve on most lines, especially the consumer-grade connection that the German activist is using.
Continuity: In the scene where Birgit is leaving on her bike past an ominous, yet ultimately not dangerous, black sedan, she is shown passing the car, but when the camera cuts back to Justin, she is shown as not having passed the black sedan yet.
