Josh Blue, the comedian from Denver who won NBC's comedy competition 'Last Comic Standing' in its fourth season, came back on Comedy Central Friday (March 27) night at 11 in New York. Two years on the road, and with 200 performance, Blue entertained his audience with his superb stand up comedy. "I love doing this, and what a great city to play," he said. "It was an awesome crowd." To that he added "New York is harder. It's a big mix of people." Blue, accompanied by Kathleen Madigan, will return to Denver for a show on April 25. He will be at the Buell, where he has never set his foot before, performing for the Kempe Center.

At “The Howard Stern Show” Wednesday morning, comedian Iliza Shlesinger came out with her life before her present job, and the professional challenges she has to face. The 25-year-old Iliza, who is from Dallas, is the only female winner of NBC's “Last Comic Standing”. Howard interviewed her and let a few facts out about her life and profession. As a stand up comedian, Iliza is funny. Her jokes are good and she entertains her audience well. She had both talent and experience, both of which has earned her success. The peacock network recently unveiled their plans for the Summer months. Two disaster mini-series and three new scripted shows will debut. They'll be joined by a new version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and Great American Road Trip. Law & Order: Criminal Intent will return to the network as will NBC's perennial hit America's Got Talent.
While there are lots of new shows in the network's future, it's been confirmed that there are even more that won't be returning. In another walking of that fine line between the Wild West Web and 21st century corporate synergy, Viacom-ites Comedy Central and Atom.com are turning out another four episodes of Atom TV, starting January 12th at 2:30 Am. These four episodes will represent the end of the first season. Some series will be making return appearances on Atom TV over the last four episodes. Super Special Dog had an earlier episode appear on Atom TV in September, and My Best Friend is My Penis appeared in the most recent episode, which aired December 8th. And Sandeep Parikh is shooting Season 2 of The Legend of Neil which made waves earlier this season on Atom TV. For the last four episodes, Upright Citizens Brigade co-founder Matt Walsh, Scrubs janitor Neil Flynn and Last Comic Standing competitor Eddie Pepitone are among some of the familiar faces dotting the comedy roster. »
