Just about the only WWE program worth watching..., 28 August 2005
Author: InvaderDave from United States
To me, anyways. Paul London and Akio built the Velocity house and tore it down by having some pretty classic matches. Basically the stomping grounds (PUN) of Paul London and the Cruiserweights, minus Mysterio, to shine on. Great fun to watch, you could probably call it, "The Wrestling Fan's WWE Program". You don't even have to watch Smackdown, as the important highlights are shown for you. D'ja miss Smackdown? Just watch Velocity. Forgot what happened in Chapter 47 of Eddie Guerrero's story? Just watch Velocity. JBL challenged Batista yet again, and you want to see that drama once more? Velocity. For all your Cruiserweight needs, Velocity is your show. 9/10

Good Wrestling Show, 14 May 2006
Author: keithpettyworld from United States
Yeah, change of plans; I'm going to start at the beginning of the month for wrestling and just work my way up to the present. Again, no promises; but I will try. Anyway, for those who don't know, the Velocity archives are available on WWE.com. Some quality matches on there, guys. To be honest, I'd take this show over SmackDown!, Raw, and Impact! any day of the week. this show is very underrated and lots of people hates on WWE Velocity. i love everything about this show. now that it's on the Internet. its great watching these no name wrestlers show their talent on WWE Velocity. they've all the great matches on WWE Velocity TV Show. the commentators are great to listen to as well. WWE Velocity gets better and better every week.

Best wrestling show on TV., 26 November 2003
Author: ChrisHoMGS from Norwich, CT, USA
WWE Velocity is where the WWE bookers place talent that they cannot find a use for on the main show of SmackDown! Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean they are bad entertainers, in fact, that is far from the truth.
Velocity brings together veterans like Ultimo Dragon, Rh-->I<--no and Chris Kanyon. Also, they have indy veterans like Paul London, Brian "Spanky" Kendrick, Nunzio(Formerly ECW's Little Guido) and Nova.
If you want to see no bull, entertaining WRESTLING on TV without a McMahon on the screen every ten minutes, this is the show for you. Do yourself a favor and check this out. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Rookie's place to be, 21 July 2003
Author: Keith (TRUSTcompany1990) from New York
Instead of dark matches, this is great for rookies so they are on TV. Heat is the same case. Both Velocity and Heat are used for wrestlers in lower than mid-card and rookies to try out. I really enjoy watching the rookies and even the low-cards. It's a great hour.

Truly an amazing show!, 6 December 2005
Author: CinemaLov from Canada
Velocity can be compared to Smackdown on Friday nights... a good show with lot of action in the ring. Truly underrated when it's better at any points compare to the lackluster that WWE raw and wwe heat offers to poor wrestling fan of have no other choice. Thank god, we can watch wrestling with this side of the brand!! Now it's on WWE.com you can see them there, so it's available for everyone. You have good wrestling with the stars of right now and tomorrow such as the Mexicools, Kid Kash, Orlando Jordan, Simon Dean, Bobby Lashley, Paul Birchall, Sylvan and many many more! Velocity is not a show to bash but a show to enjoy with something WWE forgot to put on their Monday night show and i gave you the keyword WRESTLING!

I Love It!, 6 July 2002
Author: Kyle Dowling from Ontario Canada
*** This comment may contain spoilers ***
In Canada, Saturday Night featured WWF Cavalcade, Then Challenge, Then Canadian Challenge, then Shotgun.... but for a few years, Wrestling wasn't on Saturday Nights.
Excess didn't seem to cut it, that show started off live, uncensored, and had Trish! But then everything calmed down, it was taped the day before, Terri replaced Trish, they censored every word out, and then had Raven, Coach, Loyd & Cole split the show up.
Now Velocity has had the torch passed down to it. Velocity has great matches, goes overtime, doesn't censor, and has a "Live Event" feeling with the Pyro, The Matches, The Announcers, etc.
I think Velocity is a great show, I watch it every Saturday Night, and I even read the spoilers and still watch it.

I find programmes like thes useful in the UK, 24 July 2002
Author: movieaddict1988 from Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Scotland, United Kingdom
In the UK, shows like " WWE Afterburn " are useful. In the UK " WWE Smackdown! " and " WWE Raw " only come on Sky Sports 1 (" WWE Smackdown! also comes on Sky One in the UK) Thats probably why " WWE Bottom Line " (recaps everything that happened on " WWE Raw ") and " WWE Afterburn " (recaps what happened on " WWE Smackdown! ") were created; for people that don't have the channel that broadcasts " WWE Raw " or " WWE Smackdown! " So " WWE Afterburn " may not be useful in the USA but it would be some use over the UK.

Beats Livewire, 15 September 2002
Author: mark adams from Scotland
This Show Beats Livewire to The Post. This Show Is good if You Miss Smackdown. You Will get a good run of the past weeks Show. Livewire got out dated. This is good for the interviews aswell. The Brand Thing Has Changed the whole of the WWE.

The mid-carders of the "SmackDown!" brand, 20 June 2002
Author: JeffBond87 from Southwest Missouri
WWE Velocity features the superstars of the "SmackDown!" brand, including Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Triple H, Kurt Angle, The Hurricane, Billy & Chuck, and Rikishi. It features typically 4 matches, and gives a recap of "SmackDown!". Worth watching, especially if you're one of those unlucky few (such as myself) who don't get UPN, and thus can't see the superstars of the SmackDown! brand. If you watch, catch "WWE Confidential" afterwards, another typically good World Wrestling Entertainment show.
