It was supposed to be one of those action thrillers that the Indian movie industry is so adept at dishing out at regular intervals.However where the first half was quite entertaining, the second half turned out to be hilarious. Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty teamed up for the first time in this flick to fight the menace of some moronic clown of an "international terrorist", who was inadvertently on the lookout for "krypton"(straight from the superman comics) to make him invincible. The two college student combine their forces along with their respective sweethearts(reduced to mere caricatures) to fight against his lethal forces.Eventually justice prevails and the fat slob of a villain bites dust. The direction was below par, editing very average and extremely tacky sets ensured that it will be referred to more as a comic caper now than an action thriller.However, the movie turned to be a reasonable hit and ensured that Akshay and Suniel would team up on quite a few occasions in the future to ensure box office success.
