Plot:

The sound of Matilda Dixon's wailing throughout the film is really the sound of an elderly woman's groaning in bed. The sound was both sped up in the parts where Matilda screams, and slowed down in the places where she gurgles and breathes heavily.

Loved this movie

My husband and I saw Darkness Falls this weekend and absolutely loved it and my husband doesn't even like horror movies but he loved this one. It wasn't bloody or gory in the least. The sound effects were great as was the plot for the movie. We keep thinking that everything has been done but then they come up with plots like this and blow hubby and me away.
