Revealing mistakes: When Elvis and the mummy ride over the riverbank on the wheelchair, "Elvis" is a dummy. When the wheelchair flies over the camera, the Elvis Dummy's head actually falls off.
Crew or equipment visible: When Elvis and the mummy ride over the riverbank on the wheelchair, the hand of the crew member, who apparently pushed the wheelchair, can be seen on the far left side of the screen.
Revealing mistakes: The Texas license plate number, AZN-700, of the black Cadillac sedan used by the Memphis Mafia is the same as the red Cadillac convertible driven by Elvis himself.
Factual errors: The sign outside the front of the Shady Rest Convalescence Center in Mud Creek is misspelled "Convalesence Center".
Errors in geography: There are no mountains (as seen in the Nachadoches fair scene and Mud Creek)in East Texas.
