I'm very picky about NES games. Some of the ones that require mental power, like super jeopardy, Casino kid and wall street kid, Are the best NES games. But jaws caught my eye.
You don't play the monstrous shark that eats the naked beauty, Chrissie Watkins. you play as a diver who's destined to kill jaws. To kill jaws, he gets bombs for blowing the shark into seafood and a spear gun with infinite ammo. Aside from killing the big naked lady-eating shark, he also kills stingrays and jellyfish.
It is certainly better than Jaws: the Revenge, which was released in the same year.
Here's my review for the game.
Story - 4/5 - Since it's based on a good movie, it ranks high.
Graphics - 5/5 - The best part is the intro screen.
Music and sound - 5/5 - the sound is perfectly executed, and the jaws theme done in NES sound, is perfect.
Controls - 3/5 - the controls are annoying, because you're swimming in water and you tend to slide a little.
Overall - 4/5 - if you have a NES, you should have the game.
