I wasn't really into the original cartoon when I was very young, but it was certainly all the rage with a lot of other children, including my brother.
The animation and plots were quite good and worth remembering. It all seems like it was yesterday just thinking about it and it was first made in the year I was born. That makes me feel so old.
I wasn't into this European revamp either, but from what I have seen and heard, it does sound a little pointless. One of the famous things that people will remember about He Man was that its old type setting, not the futuristic space one.
No matter how hard they try, the original will always shadow any remakes, even if they try to be different.
Can't blame them for trying though.
