Not many will be aware that filmmaker Raj Kumar Santoshi was about to manage the formidable coup of getting Aamir Khan & Shah Rukh Khan together on the big screen together for the first time in London Dreams. At that point, it was to be titled Rashque ('jealousy' in Urdu), which is the film's underlying sentiment. The two stars are said to have even attended joint narrations.
Both the actors loved the script and wanted to sleep over it before committing themselves. Santoshi is rumoured to have pursued the two superstars relentlessly and even chased alternatives like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, before giving up when the casting did not fructify.
As destiny would have it, Salman Khan took London Dreams to filmmaker Vipul A. Shah, who started afresh on the script. The former automatically stepped into Aamir's shoes while Ajay Devgn was roped in by Shah to step into Shah Rukh's. »

As the days go by, the excitement (and expectations!) surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish is steadily increasing. Not only does the film mark Bhansali's third film with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but also stars Hrithik Roshan who is apparently thrilled to be part of the Bhansali-Rai duo that has created magic twice already (Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam).
Speaking to the Times of India, Aishwarya explained that this film won't be as glamorous as her previous two with Bhansali. "Sanjay was so excited when he found the right script for us to work together in. ‘This is it,’ he said. For the first time I didn’t even read the script before I said yes. It’s a very real, very intense drama," she added.
The film, which is currently being filmed, seems to be an extremely enriching experience for the entire team. "Hrithik, Sanjay and I are like-minded »

The duo moved many a hearts with their superb individual performances in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Salman's pre-climax scene in the film melted many a tough heart. And it looks like the audience is in for a similar kind of treat this time too. The confirmation of our above speculation emanates from the fact that i... »

Almost all of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films have great music and that includes the 2007 disaster Saawariya. So far the talented film director resisted the temptation of music direction and only gave his valuable inputs to his composers, but with his next Slb has decided to compose the music himself.
Guzaarish starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first film as Music director.
News is that the Black director has already completed composing 4 songs. The recorded songs are believed to be completely original and posses an old worldish charm.
He is highly talented no doubt, but can Slb match mainstream music directors? For the director of films like Black, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas - a lot is at stake with Guzaarish. He just can’t afford another set back, can he. »

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has now officially turned composer with Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Guzaarish. However, till a few days back, there were feelers that Ismail Darbar may make a re-entry into the Sanjay Leela Bhansali camp. The question making the rounds was - 'Is Ismail Darbar going to compose music for Chenab Gandhi and/or Guzaarish?' If that would have happened, it would have marked the return of the composer with Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with whom he has earlier come up with master soundtracks like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas? While there were murmurs making the industry rounds that Ismail could well be at the helm of composing music for at least one... »

The first time that Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan shared screen space was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the result was earth-shattering, to say the least. The super-hit film saw the duo winning tremendous accolades for their warm vibes that translated into some superb scenes on-screen, as they romanced former Miss World, Aishwaraya Rai-Bachchan, in their own characteristic style - Salman the eternal, charming, care-a-damn lover boy and Ajay, the sincere, serious and unselfish husband.... »
