Godzilla (1998) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

None; a man and woman kiss.

A woman also says that one man thinks of another woman as "A pair of breasts that talk".

A man makes a joking reference to a "threesome" with two other women.

A mention that Godzilla is able to produce asexually.

Violence & Gore

There is violence involving the military trying to destroy Godzilla (a giant, dinosaur-like monster that rampages the streets of New York). Little of the creature's blood is shown, but there is a bit visible at the end.

Profanity

A woman calls another man a "Douchebag, gutter slime, dog crap, puke chuck". There are several "Oh, my god"s and things similar to that.

None.

A giant monster rampages through the streets of New York several times. Most of the time it is being chased by either helicopters, or, in one scene in New York Harbour, it is being chased by submarines.

In one scene, Godzilla bends down to inspect a man. He roars in the man's face.

Godzilla roars in the air and ignites the petrol of some cars, blowing up the vehicles.

A man stands in the street while Godzilla appears to stand on him. Godzilla then raises his foot up and reveals that the man went in between 'Zilla's toes.

Godzilla's offspring may be considered frightening to children.
