The King of Rock-n-Roll lives! On his way across New Mexico, Byron Gruman picks up a hitch-hiking impersonator who says he's Elvis Presley really. Skeptical and trying to shake the memory of his wife's death, Byron just wants to drop Elvis off at his Memphis destination. Instead, he finds himself won over by this King, much like everyone they meet including a sexy Marilyn Monroe look-alike. Featuring a scene that was shot inside the Graceland Mansion thanks to Priscilla Presley's involvement as executive producer. With Harvey Keitel, Bridget Fonda, Johnathon Schaech. Written by Anonymous

Road movie about a man (Jonathan Schaech) in despair over the death of his wife (Gretchen Mol, appearing only in brief flashbacks), who decides to go on a journey from New Mexico to Memphis to see Graceland in his beat-up junker with the driver's door missing. En route, he picks up a hitchhiker (Harvey Keitel) in a pink sports jacket who proclaims himself to be Elvis, who is trying to return home to Graceland. Initially trying to free himself of Elvis, he slowly becomes enamored with the man's capability to have influence over everyone around him including a state trooper who stops the vehicle. Bridget Fonda appears as a Mississippi casino Marilyn Monroe impersonator who helps Schaech out of his funk. Written by John Sacksteder {jsackste@bellsouth.net}
