Bad Manners? No... It should be called "Bad Movie", 27 June 2007
3/10
Author: RegardeLaMer from United States

Well... I would have thought that with a pretty solid cast and a seemingly interesting plot, this movie would have been shooting fireworks from the very beginning. However, I felt like this movie really hit me the wrong way. The acting was so horrible, I honestly felt like I was watching a television sitcom that was cancelled after a few showings. The plot really fell apart towards the middle, when we find out that all four of the characters are un trustworthy and seem to have no self control whatsoever. I felt like all of the characters had a very stale way of acting with virtually no emotion. The idea that they "wife swap" was almost laughable... Pologyny-like even. I felt there was no apologetic tone from any of the characters, when they made a stupid mistake or said something too offensive. None of the characters made me actually feel any sort of reaction towards the movie other than the following: "ugh... is this movie over, yet?!" "how did this movie impress siskel and roeper?!" "kill me now... Please!" I was pretty angry by the end of the movie, since nothing really "huge" happened. It seemed to all go back to normal, everyone was as they were before the little dinner party, and a mess that was made would soon repair itself... Well, maybe not... I had to watch this movie over a period of 3 days, because I found I was yawning a little too much during the viewings. Honestly... If you think this movie sounds interesting, I caution you... It's not interesting in the slightest! You will be gravely disappointed with the director's abilities and the hot shot actors. What can I say... This movie really blew- 3.5/10
