Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A man and woman sexually kiss in a bathroom, two children walk in on them, but immediately leave.

A woman is in the bathtub, no nudity at all.

There is also a strong sense of sexual tension between a twelve year old girl and an older man, although their relationship remains non-sexual.

Violence & Gore

Before each item I include a number out of five. This number is how strong each item is (1would be, for instance, a comedic slap, whereas 5 would be an extremely realistic shooting that included impact, blood spray, etc.)

2- Leon pulls someone off of a balcony and you hear them scream as they fall, but you do not hear/see the impact.

3- Leon shoots someone. While you do not see the bullet hit, you do see blood splatter on a nearby wall.

3- A man shoots a woman in a bathtub at close range with a shotgun. The bubbles hide most of the blood, however later you see a small amount of blood flowing down the back of the tub.

3- A man shoots a teenage girl (not graphic)

3- A man shoots another man with some blood spray

3- A four year old boy is shot dead. This is not shown, however it is discussed heavily throughout the film and you see the killer trying to shoot the boy.

4.5- A man is running away when another man shoots him. The first man tries to crawl away, but the shooter follows him, standing over him shooting him in the back a few times before killing him. He continues to crawl as he is shot. The body is seen later in the film. (quite bloody with blood on the floor and blood spray at the impact of each bullet)

2- Leon holds a knife to someones throat and threatens them

2- Matilda shoots someone with a paint ball via a sniper rifle (the viewer does not know it is a paint ball until impact)

2- A man threatens a teenage girl with a handgun.

3- Leon walks into a room and shoots two people in the head with considerable blood spray

3- Leon walks into a room and shoots two men in the stomache with some blood spray.

4- In the final scene Leon shoots numerous SWAT team members with large amounts of blood spray.

2- A grenade is fired into an apartment with a man inside.

4- A man is seen lying in a pool of blood with numerous bloody bullet wounds.

3- Two men are blown up by a grenade. The explosion is shown but the men are not.

3- There are assorted scenes with Leon with assorted bullet nicks and other wounds, some of which are fairly bloody.

Profanity

Numerous uses of f**k, g*dd**n, s**t, etc, a number of which are used by a twelve year old.

Stansfeld takes some kind of psychoactive pill that messes with his brain twice during the movie

Mathilda smokes, but quits when Leon tells her to

Tony is shown drinking several times at his bar

the most emotional scene in the movie is listed under violence/gore.

however the theme of dirty cops and a 12 year old assassin in training may upset some people

There is also an undercurrent of sexual tension between a pre-adolescent girl and a much older man that may make some people uncomfortable.
