Trivia:
On the audio commentary for the Region 1 DVD, director Brian Trenchard-Smith states that U.S. distributor New World Pictures originally planned to follow the example set by American International and their release of MAD MAX by issuing the movie with a new voice track featuring American performers revoicing the Australian actors. However, the dubbing turned out so poorly, the company decided to release the film with the original performances intact. more

I LOVE this flick!!!! I seen it as a late night movie - and I was mesmerized as soon as I started watching it. This is 80s at its finest hour. the eerieness is quite gratifying. Also if you see this rarity anywhere in the video stores - GRAB IT! Im having such a time finding this one on VHS because it hasnt yet come out on DVD (and probably will not) The basic story of the movieline - as entered by other viewers may make this flick sound stale and boring - but just imagine the context that the story actually forms. Believe me - it came on public TV at around 3 AM - and I HAD to see it. If you are an 80s fanatic - this is a sure hit. PEACE OO vv
