Collins Ignites Bidding War

10 May 2008 7:08 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Joan Collins has proved she still has men fighting over her - after a pair of businessmen this week (begs05May08) became locked in a bidding war to win a date with the star.

The 74-year-old appeared at the Caudwell Children Legends Ball in London on Thursday and auctioned off a date for charity.

But the former Dynasty star sparked a frenzy - with two men each bidding $200,000 (GBP100,000) for a chance to have dinner with her.

And in a bid to make peace, Collins eventually granted both men what they wanted.

A guest at the event tells British newspaper the Daily Telegraph, "In the end, Joan decided to take both of them out for dinner. They will donate GBP100,000 each. The venue has yet to be decided."

She reveals, "I don't want to keep having my face pulled and poked and Botoxed until I don't look like myself , but a caricature.

"But if I got a double chin, I would do something about it."
