What's odd for a film of this type is that it not only is a gladiator film, it also tries it's hand at bits of comedy. Sadly, it fails pretty badly at both the action and humor. The battles are badly staged, and nothing you haven't seen before, and the humor is totally unfunny, not even in a stupid sense. Maybe it was better in it's country of origin (Italy), most likely the comedic dubbing was added for American audiences. The plot concerns a Hercules rip-off named Colossus who is drugged and put on a boat for some reason or another. The boat lands on an island where all sorts of adventures between Colossus and the amazon women take place. My best advice is to avoid this, you can find better elsewhere.
