The story starts off with 4 girls dressed as boys robbing a gas station. The nearly kill the attendant by bashing him in the head with a gun. Later we find out these are really 4 bad high school girls going on robbery spees in surrounding towns. The gang is lead by "Paula" (Jean Moorhead). They do everything including robbing a young couple in Lover's Lane. They tie up the woman, and take her boyfriend into the woods where they gang rape him (off screen). Paula parents are rich and spoil her , and are unsuspecting of her criminal activities. Paula and her gang get criminal job to wreck the school and destroy American Flags, from "Sheila" (Lee Constant). During the late night vandalism of the school, the police are notified and the girls get in a big shoot out with the police. A cop is killed and 2 of the 4 girls are shot dead by police. Paula flees with only one remaining gang member. They go back to Sheila's house to get paid for the job. When Sheila refuses to pay, Paula shoots her dead. She takes the money and flees only to get in a traffic accident that kills the last gang member. Paula gives birth to a little boy in the jail's hospital ward, and she dies afterwards. The parents are denied custody of the baby by a family court judge because they never gave Paula the attention that a growing girl needs, and that is why she turned to crime for thrills.
