Revealing mistakes: In the scene where New York's East Side is being introduced, a set of headlights can be seen appearing and disappearing near the center of the shot.
Continuity: In the scene with the police and Mr. and Mrs. Batory at the waterfront, the sun goes up then down.
Crew or equipment visible: In the scene near the end where Garza is running along a street in New York, the car holding the camera (in the passenger window) is visible in the store windows, keeping pace with the actor as he stops and starts.
Errors in geography: During the pursuit of Willie Garza by the police, he climbs a tower on the Williamsburg bridge and looks down. Below are tennis courts on an island in the East River. There are no islands below the Williamsburg bridge; the island is most likely Roosevelt Island which has tennis courts and is crossed by the Queensboro bridge.
Continuity: When Muldoon and Halloran first question Ruth Morrison's mom, there are 4 or 5 78 RPM records on the couch she is standing behind. When she and Holloran sit down, the records are no where in sight.
