On Survivor: Samoa, Mick Trimming was the official leader of the Foa Foa tribe but you wouldn't have known it from watching the show. Teammate Russell Hantz quickly took the reigns of the tribe, and the entire game, and made competing with him a near impossible task. Maybe Mick never had a shot at the million-dollar jackpot. But many fans wondered if the physically fit nice guy could have done more to take home the top prize and take down his tribe's top dog. So why did the 33-year-old doctor miss multiple chances to oust power player Russell and let his morality get in the way of his game play? Which jury member shocked him the most? One title he couldn't nab during his 39 days on the island? The ultimate prize of sole survivor. In his aggressive game playing, Russell found hidden immunity idols without clues, sabotaged his own teammates and made alliances with many of his fellow players, only to break them at the first sign of weakness. Report: "Large Amounts" of Prescription Drugs Found in Brittany Murphy's Bedroom
22 December 2009 8:02 AM, PST
A large number of prescription drugs were found in the bedroom of Brittany Murphy, who suffered shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain in the week leading up to her death, according to an investigator's notes obtained by TMZ.
Citing notes from the Los Angeles County coroner's office, TMZ said Investigator Blacklock wrote that Murphy, 32, went to the bathroom at 7:30 a.m. Sunday and shut the door. She had complained of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain for seven to 10 days prior to her death, but her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, told the investigator he wasn't alarmed because his wife "often suffered from severe menstrual pains," the site said.
Actress Brittany Murphy dead at 32
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter, however, told TVGuide.com he has never seen the notes TMZ is citing and that the coroner's office has not provided the site with any notes or reports regarding Murphy's death and investigation. »

Survivor Winner Natalie: "It's a Very Social Game"
21 December 2009 3:04 PM, PST
If you ever doubt Survivor is a game of social skills as much as strength, remember Natalie White. From the beginning of Survivor: Samoa, the odds seemed stacked against the 26-year-old southern belle and out-of-work pharmaceutical saleswoman. But she made it to the end by forming a key alliance with self-proclaimed "puppet master" Russell, whose manipulative ways got him into the final two, but made him too many enemies on the jury. How well did she play the social game? So well that one of her key supporters turned out to be Erik, a competitor whose elimination she had helped orchestrate.
