Running between 1987 and 1994 on ITV, Knightmare was a bizarre mix of early computer-generation and hand-drawn fantasy animation based in a world of dungeons and dragons. Ellie Goulding tops BBC Sound list

Ellie Goulding has finished first on the BBC Sound of 2010 list. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter, who hails from Hereford, adds the accolade to the Brit Awards Critics' Choice prize she won last month. Billy Corgan 'to start own record label'

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is reportedly planning to set up his own record label. The singer's latest venture was revealed by long-time associate and producer Kerry 'Studio Dog' Brown, who announced that he and Corgan are launching the company together. Several songs from the singer's forthcoming album Raymond vs. Raymond appeared on filesharing sites in December, over two months before the record's scheduled release.
