Mini Biography

Lyn began her career in show business as a child actress with a small part in the television drama "Coronation Street" (1960). In the early 1960s she changed her name to Tansy Paul and began a solo career as a pop singer. She then chose the stage name Lyn Paul and formed a group, the Chrys-Do-Lyn's, with two former school friends, Christine and Donna, before becoming a member of the New Seekers pop group from 1971 until 1974. Whilst she was with the group, she sang the lead vocals on the number one hit record "You Won't Find Another Fool Like Me". Just after she left the group, she recorded 'Sail The Summer Winds', a song from the soundtrack of the film, The Dove (1974). This was Gregory Peck's debut as a film producer and the song was written by John Barry & Don Black. In recent years she has won critical acclaim for her performance in the stage musical 'Blood Brothers'.
