The door of possibility that Leonard Nimoy may reprise his TV series role as The Great Paris in the forthcoming "Mission: Impossible 4" wasn't slammed shut by J.J. Abrams. Asked to address the matter when speaking to the press on Thursday, October 8 at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, the producer uttered, "How cool would that be?"
The "Star Trek" director continued by mentioning Peter Graves who plays James Phelps, the leader of the elite Imf in the series. "I just got a call that Peter Graves is in great shape, which would be a very bizarre bend in the space-time continuum, for obvious reasons," he said as quoted by Collider. "I almost feel like you could make him serious again and bringing him back. Whether it's Nimoy, who I have an incredible affinity for, or Graves, or anyone, we'll see."
Abrams also recalled that he once tried to get Martin Landau »

In case you have missed some segments of yesterday's BBC Radio 1 Harry Potter day, you can now revisit their exclusive coverage here: they have uploaded lots of videos, images, and other goodies. For those of you who can't watch the videos, we have added two to our Youtube channel: in the first one, Rupert Grint is quizzed by Scott Mills: first he is asked to name as many famous Harrys as he can think of, and then to retell the entire Harry Potter saga in a few sentences! In the second video, Jessie Cave takes Edith Bowman and James King on a set tour and talks about being in awe with Rupert when she first met him! In a new interview, James Phelps and Oliver Phelps talk briefly about Rupert and about challenges of being a redhead: they say that Harry Potter hasn't made it any easier for redheads, »

As promised, here comes the second batch of our exclusive clips from the world premiere of "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince", which took place at Leicester Square, London two days ago. I had the opportunity to interview Rupert Grint's lovely co-stars Jessie Cave, Matthew Lewis, James Phelps and Oliver Phelps. Of course, I asked them Rupert and Ron related questions (while my colleague from Mugglenet.com asked them other stuff). For your convenience, I've decided to upload them to our Youtube channel first, and I will have the downloadable versions ready soon. Matt Lewis calls the poisoning scene in Hbp his absolute favourite, and says that Rupert is in top form, at his comedy best! As for Jessie... well, you'll see! So, without further ado, watch the interviews here: Matthew Lewis, Jessie Cave, the twins. Also, Rupert, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have been interviewed by UK’s T4 host Miquita Oliver. »

Grint alert! I have finally uploaded the first batch of the videos I filmed two days ago in London, at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I was given the opportunity to exchange a few words (and smiles) with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, Jessie Cave, Freddie Stroma, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton, Jim Broadbent, Jason Isaacs, Helen McCrory and the producer David Barron. (I also filmed quite a few others, such as Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, Devon Murray etc. but didn't have time to talk to them.) I was sharing the red carpet spot (and the umbrella) with Nick from MuggleNet and Mary from Harry Latino, so I'll be swapping videos with them as well. Instead of a classical report, I'm going to let the video clips do the talking! So please head over to this page, where you will find »

Find out what Rupert Grint had to say about meeting First Lady Michelle Obama. Check out a great book review column on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Get ready, because tomorrow the video game hits the stores! Watch some videos with Evanna Lynch and the Phelps twins. And finally, can we put this Transformers debacle behind us now? Yes, great movie. Yes, made more money. No, it doesn't matter. :-) Rupert Grint on Meeting First Lady Obama This is a great quote from Rupert on meeting First Lady Michelle Obama. I can actually picture a motorcade pulling up and the anxiety that would ensue. Rupert had this to say about the Obamas trip to the Harry Potter set: "I'm not easily impressed by famous people, but nothing's matched this. I didn't think I was going to be nervous, then this huge motorcade pulled up at the studio and Michelle »

Welcome to another page in the Lost Diary of Harry Potter! Today, we introduce you to a new television series called Merlin that has many of the same characteristics of Harry Potter, Emma Watson gracing the pages of Teen Vogue, a first-person encounter with the Harry Potter Exhibit, more on the splitting point for Harry Potter 7, interviews with the Weasley twins, Jessie Cave, and Tom Felton, plus some quirkiness straight from CNN. The Re-Imagined Merlin Although not directly related to Harry Potter, we felt this was worthy of our continued dissection of Harry Potter news. The BBC has a thirteen-show series running called Merlin that features a teenage wizard who has many of the same issues as Harry: teen angst, girl troubles, competition with others, and most importantly, the constant threat of death. Merlin, played by Colin Morgan, is definitely worth checking out. Emma Watson Graces the Cover of Teen »

Welcome to the first edition of our new column, Harry Potter and the Daily Prophet! Every day, we will be bringing you the latest news, pictures, video clips, interviews, and more from the Harry Potter franchise. We have been meaning to do this for some time now! As many of you know, we maintain a daily column for Twilight but we did not want the Harry Potter fans to feel left out by any means. I'm a big fan of the series and I have read all of the books, unlike my counterpart who has read all of Twilight and writes most of our Twilight news. We hope you enjoy this new column; let us know what you think in the comments section! IMAX Date Changed for Hp:hbp Recently, it was announced that the release date for the IMAX version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been pushed »
