Private Practice's KaDee Strickland Shares Her Sexy Secrets

29 October 2008 12:00 AM, PDT | From TVGuide.com - Features | See recent TVGuide - Features news

Private Practice</i>" style="margin:0 5px 5px" />To put it simply, Private Practice's KaDee Strickland never saw it coming. Yet here her stern Charlotte is, falling into something ever-so-slightly resembling (gulp) love with Paul Adelstein's Cooper. What's beneath the good doc's steely exterior? (Other than naughty lingerie, if that?) Strickland shared a peek at Charlotte's inner demons, then teases an emotional medical story to come. (ABC's Private Practice airs Wednesdays at 9 pm/Et/) TVGuide.com: First things first: Can you set the record straight on the Private Practice publicity stills? You're standing in front a wall of rocks, right? And not a wall of potatoes?

KaDee Strickland: That is true. [Laughs] But that's hilarious, it does look like a bunch of potatoes. You're not a liar.

TVGuide.com: It never dawned on me until we ran Chris Lowell's photo the other day and one of our readers pointed it out.

On DVD Today: August 26, 2008

DVD Links: Release Dates | New Dvds | Reviews | RSS Feed First things first. For those of you interested and excited that Criterion is going to start releasing Blu-ray titles but worried about the cost, considering Criterion DVDs aren't exactly cheap and to spend the same kind of money on essentially the same film in high-definition need not worry so much, there is a small bit of fresh air. Of course, this isn't a solution that makes it a free upgrade, but the die-hards out there at least have an option. Criterion is offering the option that you send in your current DVD (just the disc) and $25 ($20 for the new disc and $5 for shipping) and they will send you back the corresponding Blu-ray disc. The only difference is going to be the high-definition transfer between back titles and the fact that Blu-ray editions will come in the blue case packaging. This seems

Trailer for ‘The Family That Preys’ now online

12 July 2008 7:36 AM, PDT | From screeninglog.com | See recent screeninglog news

Tyler Perry’s “The Family That Preys” just received a first official trailer over at Yahoo! Movies, and you can check it out just above. In a nutshell, the film centers on two very different families learning to work together. Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard, KaDee Strickland, Sebastian Siegel and Tyler Perry star.

There’s not that much to say about the trailer except that it promises the usual Tyler Perry family drama and romance, and that’s fine with me as long as he manages to inject his projects with fresh ideas and engaging story lines. “The Family That Preys” marks the second film Perry releases this year, following his romantic drama “Meet the Browns.” Watch for it in theaters Sept. 12, 2008.
