Ethan Hawke has allayed fears he's ingesting huge quantities of drugs onstage every night - by insisting that they're harmless substitutes. The Hollywood actor is currently starring in off-Broadway, New York City, show Hurlyburly, an adaptation of David Rabe's play about the intersecting lives of several Hollywood players and wannabes whose personal lives are heading towards catastrophe.
