A former Home and Away actor has claimed that the Australian soap has a culture of sex and drugs. Bryan Wiseman, who appeared as a supporting actor in the soap, has told Australia's The Sunday Telegraph that it was common for the younger cast members to take cocaine and lead reckless lifestyles. "Drugs are common. A lot of people do it, apart from the older cast like Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart). "Generally speaking, the younger cast members come in, they like the lifestyle and they have drugs offered to them." The 40-year-old actor claims that it wasn't uncommon for stars to turn up to work after a big night and consume more cocaine to help get them through the day. "It's commonplace in the green rooms. Past and present stars of Home and Away have come together to celebrate the soap's 21st anniversary in Sydney. Current castmembers including Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart), Ada Nicodemu (Leah Patterson-Baker), Esther Anderson (Charlie Buckton) and Lincoln Lewis (Geoff Campbell) joined former Summer Bay icons Emily Symons (Marilyn Fisher), Norman Coburn (Donald Fisher) and Nicolle Dickson (Bobby Simpson) at a fan event at the city's Cargo Bar.
