Weird title, I know – but it’s true.
Entertainment Tonight presented a sneak peak for the newest trailer for Terminator Salvation that will debut on their show next Tuesday and will be in theaters alongside The Day the Earth Stood Still. That means we now have two good reasons to see that film in theaters: 1) This trailer 2) The first official trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Terminator Salvation is directed by McG and stars Christian Bale, Anton Yelchin, Sam Worthington, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common, Moon Bloodgood and Helena Bonham Carter.
The quick scenes we see here show some stuff we’ve seen before but the ending is the most notable and you’ll see why.
Here’s the footage:

That’s one big out-of-place robot. It’s like RoboCop meets modern live action transformers. I can’t say I remember that one from the Skynet designs, heh. The only reason there

Entertainment Tonight recently previewed the upcoming Terminator Salvation trailer, showing off 35 seconds of the blockbuster. I’ll say right now, this feels more like Transformers than a Terminator movie and that worries me. Et will release the full trailer next Tuesday and it will then be playing in theaters with The Day the Earth Stood Still. The McG directed flick opens May 22, 2009 and stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood, Common, Jadagrace and Helena Bonham Carter. Check out the clip below.

Hypening up the promo for "Terminator Salvation", Sony Pictures have released a new full-motion poster for the action thriller. Highlighting on the transformation of Los Angeles in the next nine years, the poster shows the destruction progress of the city from 2009 to 2018.
Beginning with an overhead shot of normal Los Angeles in 2009, the poster slowly morphs into the face of a terminator, particularly the early T-model, following explosion, collapsing buildings, and fire. The transformation ends when the tagline, "The End Begins", appears. The flash poster can be seen at Sony Pictures site.
Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, "Terminator Salvation" is the fourth installment of the "Terminator" franchise. It tells the story when a stranger whose past could not be justified, Marcus Wright, comes along and joins John Connor in his resistance army. Continuing the struggles against the robots, the two soon find out a terrible secret behind the elimination of mankind.

Sony has just released something really cool to promote McG's upcoming sequel "Terminator Salvation." What I'm talking about is a flash motion teaser poster.
You can check out the whole thing after the jump. Of course there's nothing that unusual about awesome flash animations, but the concept to create an animated one-sheet with effects and sound is still pretty intriguing. I wish more theaters had LCD screens to dispay posters such as this one.
Starring Christian Bale, the film follows John Connor, who struggles to prevent the machines from eliminating what is left of humanity. Also starring are Anton Yelchin, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, Helena Bonham Carter and Bryce Dallas Howard.
"Terminator Salvation" begins in theaters May 22, 2009. Are you excited? And doesn't this poster look cool? Let me know by leaving your comments below.

Terminator Salvation is set for release on May 22, 2009. Directed by McG, it is the fourth film in the Terminator franchise and stars Christian Bale as John Connor, Bryce Dallas Howard, Anton Yelchin and Sam Worthington. The film, set in 2018, focuses on the original war between humanity and the Terminator computer network Skynet, and it abandons the formula of the series (Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 Model 101 Terminator time traveling to the present to protect or kill someone of future importance). Among the numerous robotic minions of Skynet are Helena Bonham Carter as Serena and Roland Kickinger as the first T-800. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz aren't the first celebrity parents to give their offspring a "place" name. Their newborn, Bronx, is the latest to join an esteemed group of star babies named after nations, states and cities, a baseball stadium and a posh hotel – some even commemorate the place of conception! New York, after all, is a pretty popular choice of inspiration. The Beckhams have Brooklyn, named after the borough where their first child was conceived. King of Queens star Kevin James's youngest daughter is Shea Joelle, after the home of the New York Mets. Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler

An exclusive footage of the upcoming fourth "Terminator" movie, "Terminator Salvation", has been shown to assembled journalists at a special "roadshow" event in Leicester Square, London on Tuesday, November 18. And, IGN has come out with a written description of the so-called world exclusive footage.
The footage reportedly begins with a shot of Marcus Wright opening his eyes and asking, "What day is it? What year?" His question is answered by Kyle Reece who states that they are in the year of 2018. Then, the idea of "Judgment Day" is thrown. The sequences following present clues to the storylines. One of which shows the machines taking live prisoners, so that they can use the prisoners' stem cells and DNA to develop the T800.
Another one displays giant Harvester Terminator, robots used to take humans alive and put them in grim-looking prisoner camps. Other than that, it is also shown that the Resistance

Horror Movies has found a brand new featurette of McG-directed "Terminator Salvation". Essentially a video interview with production designer Martin Laing, the featurette has exposed many spoilers about the much awaited action thriller from where the story is taking place to the new types of Terminators. Many never-before-seen footage cut off from the latest of the "Terminator" franchise have also been included in the video.
Starring Christian Bale as John Connor, the man whose fate brings him to lead resistance army, "Salvation" is set in post-apocalyptic 2018. The story centers on Marcus Wright played by Sam Worthington as this stranger, whose last memory is of being on death row, joins Connor in a journey that leads them to the uncovering of the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind by Skynet and its army of killing cyborgs.

Here's a fascinating look behind the scenes of Terminator Salvation, one of the more eagerly-awaited films of 2009. It stars Christian Bale as John Connor, and we get to see a little footage of Bale from the film, plus some of the whiz-bang visual effects and the overall production design, which we're guided through by the film's Martin Laing.
You probably didn't see City of Ember - almost nobody did - but the best thing about that film was Laing's production design, so being conscious of that, I have high hopes for what T4 will look like. Now it's up to McG to make sure that the look and the script come together in a workable fashion.
A lot of people don't like the very existence of this film, but if you look at it from the overall story arc, this next trilogy needs to take place so we can have the first trilogy.

As "Terminator Salvation" falls into its post-production phase, director McG comes out with an update about the development of the action thriller. Posting a new message in the film's official blog, the filmmaker whose real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol announced that the taking of the film's principal photography has been completed and now the crew is moving on with the post production.
McG also revealed that both Christian Bale and Sam Worthington have seen the film's early cuts and "seem pleased with where the film is headed". On the visual effect work, he shared, "There's one sequence in particular where we're trying to achieve something that's never been done before. I don't want to talk about it because we haven't been successful yet..."
Talking further about the plot, the 40-year-old described it as "a story of two destinies colliding." He added explaining, "Connor is part of a resistance comprised

Kirsten Dunst recently leaked to MTV that she will return for both Spider-Man 4 and Spider-Man 5. “I’m in” is all she said, before quickly changing her response to, “I’m not saying anything.” Dunst in the past has been the most difficult actor in the series to bring back to film additional installments, including the recent sequels. Director/Producer Sam Raimi and Spider-Man himself, Tobey Maguire, announced the fourth and fifth Spider-Man films back in early September. Maguire has signed a contract deal for $50 Million for both sequels. Actress Bryce Dallas Howard was added to the cast, playing Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker’s “first true love” in the comic series. Worldwide, the Spider-Man series has earned over $2.5 Billion. Filming for both films, at least on [...]

A quick show of hands: Who really cares if Kirsten Dunst comes back for Spider-Man 4? Personally, I was done with her somewhere in the middle of Spidey 2, and I thought she was outclassed by Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy in the miserable third installment.
But with Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire back on board, the question does seem rather natural. So when Dunst reported to MTV that, "I'm in," that obviously meant she'd have to field follow-ups, which she refused to do.
"I'm not saying anything, I know there's rumors," said a revisionist Dunst, when pressed later on the subject during her publicity duties for How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.
I guess you have to have Mary Jane for the duration; not to spoil anything, but in the comic, Peter Parker eventually marries her, although they've played with the canon rather mercilessly in the movies so far.

Christian Bale recently met Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Brentwood Country Mart, and Zimbio has several pictures from the encounter right here. I don't really know what they were chatting about, but maybe Arnie talked a little about the good old "The Terminator" days. Or maybe they were talking about a possible Arnie cameo in McG's upcoming "Terminator Salvation." Who knows?
Anyway, the film is currently shooting, with a release scheduled for May 22, 2009. Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Moon Bloodgood, Common, Bryce Dallas Howard, Roland Kickinger (as the T-800) and Helena Bonham Carter co-star. For more Arnie, click here or watch a short clip from the meeting right after the jump (via Coming Soon).
