Melora Hardin – best known as Jan from the Us version of The Office – and pro wrestler Paul ‘Big Show’ Wight have signed on to star in the WWE-affiliated wrestling comedy, Knucklehead. With star power like that, Titanic had better watch out.The film, which will be produced by WWE Studios, sees a debt-ridden wrestling promoter (Mark Feuerstein) stumble upon a 450-pound big unit (Wight) who agrees to wrestle for him in order to help the orphanage where he grew up.Hardin will play the owner of the orphanage, who goes with the duo on a road trip across the States in order to enter Wight into a wrestling contest. So it’s Little Miss Sunshine, only with a sweaty giant instead of a little girl. We’re not entirely optimistic about the quality of the finished product, if we’re honest, but there is a ray of sunshine: the great »

With the season coming to an end, it's time to look back at what the last few months in entertainment have taught us. You can get your thinking caps on by clicking through our gallery of 20 Things We Learned This Summer. I'll start the addendum to the list. 1. A bit of Swedish: For instance, Hundtricket, the title of a 2002 film that features True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard in a shower scene (pictured), means "The Dog Trick." 2. Mark Feuerstein is no longer "TV poison": Royal Pains earned a second season on USA, which means the next time we write about its leading man we won't have to mention that he also starred in three failed NBC sitcoms — 1997's Fired Up (shot down after 23 episodes), 1998's Conrad Bloom (after nine episodes), and 2002's Good Morning, Miami (30 episodes) — and one blink-and-you-missed-it CBS drama, 3 Lbs. (canceled after only three airings in 2006). 3. Movie execs do have a heart, »

Tonight marks the finale of an extraordinarily successful first season of Royal Pains.
The USA hit has already been renewed for a second season, likely to air in the summer of 2010. What's on tap for it?
"I'm calling it 'the endless summer,'" executive producer Michael Rauch told TV Guide of his plan for the season two to commence immediately following the events of tonight's episode.
According to star Mark Feuerstein, a long break in the action would raise inquiries the series might not even want to answer.
"There are so many elements that are time-sensitive," he said. "What would Boris' health situation be nine months later? Where would Jill or Evan be nine months later?"
As for Reshma Shetty, she has plans of her own for Divya.
"The focus of this season is to get HankMed going, make money and hide the secret from her parents," she said. "Until all that is sorted out, »

Royal Pains wraps up its rookie season Thursday (10/9c, USA) with "Wonderland," a modern take on an old-fashioned ghost story that takes places in a haunted Hamptons manor. Dr. Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) treats the hallucinating Zoe Hill (guest star Alexandra Holden), one of the proprietors of the manor where Divya (Reshma Shetty) is hoping to have her engagement party.
As with most of the ailments featured on Royal Pains, Zoe's delusions are not what they at first seem to be. In fact, her fantastical visions serve as nice metaphorical stand-ins for the various deceptions and betrayals that this juicy hour reveals.

According to executive producer Michael Rauch, the relationship between Hank and his scheming, smirking brother Evan (Paulo Costanzo) is the emotional core of the show. Never mind the uncanny resemblance of Feuerstein and Costanzo, up until now the Lawsons have enjoyed snappy, »

Yay! If Jeffrey Donovan's DUI hadn't made us gun-shy, we would totally celebrate this news with a margarita or some other kind of pseudo-tropical alcoholic beverage: USA Network has officially renewed Burn Notice and Royal Pains! Burn Notice is going into a fourth year, while freshman series Royal Pains now graduates to a sophomore season. (Burn Notice has additional episodes airing this winter, and then both series return with fresh seasons in summer 2010.) The spy series starring Jeffrey Donovan brought in 6.8 million viewers last week, which means basic cable is now making broadcast cry during the summer. Meanwhile, Royal Pains, Mark Feuerstein's medical drama set in the high-class Hamptons, is the... »

There is a misguided conventional wisdom that summer shows are supposed to be frothy and fun, and that programs with substance and dark themes should be left for the dreary winter and spring months. USA's new medical/rich people dramedy mixes in a few heaping dashes of the heavy stuff, but Mark Feuerstein and Paulo Costanzo manage to be funny without having to sacrifice intelligence. »

USA.s new series "Royal Pains" is well-served by actor Paulo Costanzo and the high humor Iq that this Canadian possesses. The men in this series are brilliantly cast, and the filial chemistry of Dr. Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and his high-strung bean counter climber Cpa brother Evan (Costanzo) is a real delight to listen to and watch. Feuerstein previously shared with us that his fluid, comedic work with Paulo Costanzo, who plays brother Hank, was one of his favorite things about the making of this series. "He is insane," laughed Feuerstein, on a conference call with M&C. "I love every part of his insanity. He is someone with no filter, whatever is appearing in his brain will »

USA Network is known for its "characters," as its ads so often remind us. And Dr. Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) of Royal Pains is just another among the odd balls.
Royal Pains is the story of Dr. Lawson, a young medical genius who’s ethical to a fault. When he saves the life of a poor kid over a rich partner of the hospital, his career in New York City is ruined forever. Unable to find a hospital willing to hire him, he spirals into depression, drunkenness, and bad daytime TV. His trophy fiancée leaves him and he loses everything in his apartment except for his booze and his television.
So, when his Cpa brother and wannabe womanizer, Evan (Paul Costanzo) shows up to take him to The Hamptons for Memorial Day weekend, he agrees only because he’s run out of beer and Netflix movies.
What he finds at The Hamptons, »

USA's new hit show, Royal Pains, is more than filling the void of the usual summertime lull, but now we hear we might be heading for twice the fun with a possible crossover with fellow network show Burn Notice.
