Aside from Season 4's circus episode, I tend to enjoy when Bones sets a crime in a culture that Brennan, an anthropologist, gets to explore. Last night, we hit the suburbs where the remains of a man were found out the bottom of a barbecue pit during a neighborhood's annual block luau. Sweets earned his paycheck, helping Booth and Brennan to understand that suburbanites identify themselves as one. Cheating your neighbor out of money and screwing around on your wife with a mother and daughter (ewwww.com) are acceptable deviations, and slipping someone's dog a laxative for peeing on your »

Bones goes formal for episode 4×05 "A Night at the Bones Museum", airing October 15th. We've got another murder connected to the Jeffersonian (such a dangerous place to work, if you ask me) and Brennan goes on a date with someone else connected to Booth (not his brother, but it'll probably get to him). Check out the synopsis and promo photos below, courtesy of Fox.
Brennan And Booth’S Latest Case Could Change History
Brennan and Booth are called to investigate what appears to be human remains on an electrical fence. The mysterious corpse is later determined to be a mummified Egyptian royal on loan to the Jeffersonian. The anthropological mystery has Brennan in a tizzy, when the Jeffersonian curator prepping the mummy for exhibition is murdered, the team suspects foul play. Brennan’s investigation of the curator sheds new light on the life of the Egyptian royal, turning their case into one of historic proportions. »

It's Not Such A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood On "Bones" Thursday, October 8, On Fox

Suburban politics and secret scandals give each neighbor in the cul-de-sac a motive, leaving Brennan, Booth and Sweets to sift through the drama to find their suspect. Meanwhile, Jeffersonian intern Arastoo comes clean about his background, and Booth's son attempts to find Booth a girlfriend in "The Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" episode of Bones airing Thursday, Oct. 8 (8:00-9:00 Pm Et/Pt) on Fox. Chicago – If you’re like a lot of “Bones” fans you were disappointed and angry about the bait-and-switch in place during the season four finale, which promised to feature the inevitable hook-up between Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) but turned out to be nothing more than a dream episode. Sadly, the bitter taste left by the finale continues into the start of season five with the worst premiere episode the often-excellent program has provided to date.
Television Rating: 2.5/5.0 Clearly addressing viewer concerns about the finale of last season, one that ended with Booth waking from his coma-induced alternate reality to not even recognize Bones, the season premiere of “Bones” spends a lot of time trying to justify that awkward ending to a hit-and-miss season. If you missed it, Booth was in a coma that included a dream state where he loved Brennan.

As show spoilers have already alluded to, there is a plan for Brennan and Booth. These two will finally get together at some point, for real this time.
Until that episode arrives, though, viewers will need to settle for this nugget from star Emily Deschanel, as she discussed season five with E! News:
"There absolutely will be more kissing [between Bones and Booth]."
As for the September 17 Bones premiere, which will take place a few weeks after Booth's brain surgery, Deschanel said it will affect her loyal partner:
"Booth's character is kind of confused about our relationship when he wakes up, and that adds a whole new element to our relationship."
As for what else to expect this season, other stars shared the following:
Booth will still be all about Brennan, sayd David Boreanaz: "I don't care about the crime solving. I just care about my relationship with her. The other stuff just happens. »

Televisionary is proud to be a member of the TV Blog Coalition. At the end of each week, we'll feature a roundup of content from our sister sites for your delectation. This week, I had an exclusive interview with Bones showrunner/executive producer Hart Hanson about what to expect from Season Five of Bones, Booth's mental state, Brennan's Guatemalan trip, Angela's celibacy vow, a possible return to London, Stephen Fry, and much more. I also offered up advance reviews of the next episode of True Blood and the third season premiere of Mad Men, my thoughts on the season finale of ABC's Better Off Ted, and recounted my personal experiences with the new Lost Arg (which included the reveal of the Season Six premiere episode title). Coming up this season on Bones: Booth and Brennan do it in the kitchen! "We ended up under the sink and there was water spraying all over us," teases leading man David Boreanaz of this fall's can't-miss scene. "It was pretty sexual." But was there actual sex? The answer can be found in the embedded video player after the jump. As an added bonus, that's where you'll also find fresh interviews with Boreanaz' co-stars Emily Deschanel and Michaela Conlin. »

Fans of the Emily Deschanel / David Boreanaz series, Bones, won't have to worry about their show being cancelled for awhile. Fox has just given the series a two year renewal.
Bones is centered on an unlikely alliance between an FBI agent (Boreanaz) and a forensics anthropologist (Deschanel) and her team. The rest of the cast includes Michaela Conlin, T.J. Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor, Michaela Conlin, John Francis Daley, Patricia Belcher, and David Greenman.
Considering that Bones' ratings are strong, its seemed odd that the show hadn't been renewed until now. According to Variety, the holdup was over a common topic these days, license fees.
To no surprise, the Fox network and the show's studio, 20th Century Fox TV, are owned by the same company. While you might expect that that would make things easier, it actually made for longer negotiations. There are other profit participants involved so there »

Following on the heels of Stargate Sg-1 and Stargate Atlantis, the latest Stargate series — Stargate Universe, or Sgu — will include the franchise's first lesbian cast member: political attaché Camille Wray, played by veteran Chinese-American actress Ming-Na Wen (pictured, right).
The franchise began with the 1994 feature film Stargate, and has since spawned three live-action series, an animated series (Stargate Infinity), video games (Stargate Worlds), novels, and comics.
The Stargate universe is one in which soldiers and scientists from contemporary Earth interact with alien races possessing far superior technology via a top-secret Stargate (pictured below) that utilizes wormholes to quickly transport people and objects to cosmic locations far away.
Here's the official description of the new series from Sci Fi channel's press release about the series in February:
Edgier and younger in tone, Sgu will take the franchise in a dynamic new direction, appealing to longtime Stargate fans and first-time viewers alike. »
