Raised in a Hungarian orphanage by strict nuns who told her that if she kissed a boy a baby would pop out of her mouth, Ava Cadell grew up a very confused teenager: "It was my calling to find out as much as I could about love and relationships. I was destined to become a sexologist - we all teach what we need to learn the most."

An accomplished author of five books including an upcoming project for Penguin Publishing, Dr. Ava has a doctorate in human behavior from Newport University, CA, and a doctorate of education in human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. She is a board-certified clinical sexologist and has created a line of love products.

When TV shows want ratings they call Dr. Ava, who has appeared on numerous shows including "Good Morning America" (1975), "Extra" (1994) and shows on CNN, NBC, ABC, Fox News, various shows for MTV, VH1, Discovery, Lifetime, Learning Channel, E! and A&E aired a personal profile featuring Dr. Ava's career. A highly sought-after speaker in the US and throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, Dr. Ava lectures on romance, relationships, love and sexuality, consistently drawing sellout crowds.
