From America's Next Top Model to As the World Turns.
Paulina Porizkova will debut on January 5 on the latter show, kicking off a four-episode stint as Clarissa, a someone in business with Simon.
In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, the former cover girl dished about her character and her upcoming time on the soap opera...
On the offer: Totally out of the blue. I’d never watched soaps or thought about being on them. Now, after doing Atwt, I’m hooked on all of them. I’m a complete addict!
On her character: At first I was like, wait a minute, do they want me to play me, an aging supermodel? Because if that’s the case it’s a no-go. But it turns out Clarissa is an evil conwoman who comes in to destroy people’s lives. I love it! It’s very cool, except she doesn’t quite succeed. »

Pass the Luck: Before Aaron Carter performed the jive on Tuesday night's dance-off, Kelly Osbourne ran onto the dance floor, gave him a hug and a good luck charm. "I said, 'Wear my lucky bracelet.' I wear my lucky bracelet every week," she said, pointing to her beaded bracelet. "[My fiancé] Luke [Worrall] made it for me." Model Curse Broken? Playboy's December covergirl Joanna Krupa is excited and thankful to be entering week 8 of the competition. "When I first got here, I hoped to get to week 3 because of the model curse," she told People after the show. It seems every model on the show has been eliminated on or before the third week. In season 1, Rachel Hunter left in week 3; Shanna Moakler was booted in week 2 on season 3; supermodel Paulina Porizkova left the first week in season 4; Albert Reed was eliminated in week 2 the following season; and Playboy model Holly Madison »

This doesn't exactly top the news that James Franco will appear on General Hospital, but it's cool news nevertheless.
As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Paulina Porizkova will appear for multiple episodes on As the World Turns. She'll debut on January 5.
Porizkova, who served as a judge for 37 episodes of America's Next Top Model, will portray a character named Clarissa who has a history with Paul Leyden's Simon Frasier.

Casting a former supermodel for a daytime soap appearance doesn't exactly pack the same punch as James Franco doing General Hospital, but hey, CBS could do a heckuva lot worse than a Czech beauty: EW.com has learned exclusively that Paulina Porizkova will do a multi-episode arc on As the World Turns beginning Jan. 5. She will play a character named Clarissa who has a history with Simon Frasier (Paul Leyden). Atwt averages 2.52 million viewers. »

Jean Patteson of the Orlando Sentinel had a chance to sit down with supermodel and former America's Next Top Model judge Paulina Porizkova to talk about her advice to young models, her thoughts on today's fashions, and the alleged feud with Antm host and creator Tyra Banks that led to her dismissal from the show last year.

Helloooo, model behaviorists! I missed you guys last week, so I thought maybe the Antm gods (demons) would reward me with a doubly-good episode, but, uh, guess not. Instead, we faced their wrath with the oddly dull, lifeless episode that was too busy product-placing itself to death to bother being interesting. I wanted to really learn -- once and for all! -- how to make a damn smokey eye. This and other unmet needs ahead! I spent the first 10 minutes or so trying to figure out who Kara looks like or reminds me of, and it's driving me insane. It's not quite Paulina Porizkova (almost? »

Model-turned-reality starJANICE Dickinson has taken aim at her ex-boss Tyra Banks after the former Victoria's Secret stunner suggested she was jealous of her success in an interview.
Dickinson was fired from Banks' beauty contest America's Next Top Model amid reports the two former catwalk stars never got along.
Banks has not spoken about her decision to get rid of the ageing supermodel, but was asked about things Dickinson has said about her in a recent TV news interview.
When quizzed by interviewer Cynthia McFadden whether Dickinson and fellow sacked judge Paulina Porizkova were jealous of her, Banks refused to answer, but smiled and replied, 'Is that what you think?'
And the veiled hint has made the older model seethe.
In a new interview on TV news show The Insider, Dickinson sarcastically says, "Damn right I'm jealous... Everybody's jealous of the great Tyra."
But she insists she has no issues with the way she was dumped from Banks' hit show: "There's no problem - Tyra hires people, uses them and then boots them out and then hires the next person - I guess for a nominal fee."
But she does take issue with her ex-boss' claims that she's not much of a diva, adding, "She is the biggest diva on the planet next to me." »

• Tyra has always said there are 275 different smiles every model should master, and she gave us a lesson in "the hateful smile" on Nightline. Anchor Cynthia McFadden asked Tyra why ousted Antm judges Janice Dickinson and Paulina Porizkova hate her so much. Tyra wouldn't answer—instead she smiled with her mouth and murdered with her eyes. • Ah, so that's what Ellen Page looks like with makeup and her hair blown out. • Skilled arm actor Ashlee Simpson-Wentz doesn't do her sister any favors by telling Redbook this about Jess: "She's always saying, 'Oh, I want a baby!' Tyra Banks has unveiled her real hair and worn a sign revealing her weight, but just try to get her to address the firings of her fellow judges on 'America's Next Top Model.' Cynthia McFadden did on Nightline Wednesday night. She failed. "Both Paulina Porizkova and Janice Dickinson, when they left the show, were not very nice about you," McFadden said, mispronouncing Porizkova. If the basic stumble over her fellow former supermodel's last name was a source of glee for Tyra, she did not let on as she smiled with her eyes and seethed with her soul. "Let's not go there," her publicist interjected. "I am going to go there. I am going to ask that question," said McFadden before the interview faded to an audition scene. McFadden had lost this battle, but not for want of trying, as ABC's... »

In an interview that aired on Nightline last night, Tyra Banks talked openly about everything from the racism she experienced as a young model to her weight and hair. But she refused to talk about two past judges of America's Next Top Model. Most recently, fired judge Paulina Porizkova criticized Tyra for her tardiness and lack of concern about others. "America's Next Top Model" has introduced the 14 girls that are selected to compete for the title in the 13th cycle. Ranging between 18 to 23 years old, the contestants provide a new dynamic to the show by being 5'7" and under.
The line-up includes a waitress, a customer service worker, and a cheer instructor. But it expands to a 21-year-old mother named Rae who comes from Rochester, Minnesota. Listing herself as a homemaker, Rae would like to live out the dream as a model at the same time.
The 13th cycle will premiere on September 9. Tyra Banks is back hosting, accompanied in the judging panel by photographer Nigel Barker and runway diva Miss Jay Alexander. Paulina Porizkova ended her run as a regular judge last season, being kicked out due to budgetary problem. The show, however, will present a number of guest judges that include Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian.

America's Next Top Modelis back for cycle 13, premiering Sept. 9 on the CW -- can I get two snaps, a smile with your eyes, and a 'stomp it out, gurrl?' And from what we've already heard, this cycle is shaping up to become either the most Tyrifically ferocious yet, or the biggest Tyranosaurus-sized wreck. Before it kicks off, how is this cyle adding up so far? -Things started off on the right stiletto when complete chaos erupted at a NYC audition earlier this year with a stampede of hundreds of models. Yes, Miss Jay, they were running fiercely. +3 -It's the first cycle where Tyra is actively seeking girls under 5'7″, attempting to make another point (now that she finally got her plus-sized winner out of the way) that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. No, Tyra, you'll never become the Oprah of the fashion world. Ever. -1 -Paulina Porizkova, »

It lists 10 guest judges, including Conrad and Kardashian, but also some actual models, such as Chanel... keep reading » » read the full story and comment, or find the latest news about Top Model 13

Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian will be guest starring as judges on Tyra Banks' modeling reality series "America's Next Top Model."
Conrad is known for her former reality show "The Hills," but she also has designed her own line of clothing called the Lauren Conrad Collection that debuted at the Mercedes Benz La Fashion Week in March of 2008.
Kim Kardashian from "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" will also appear on a separate episode.
The two will appear on the upcoming 13th season of the series, reportedly replacing Paulina Porizkova, who was dropped as a regular from the show in May with producers claiming the "current state of the economy" was the reason for their decision.

In order to keep things fresh, "America's Next Top Model" is tapping two young celebrities as guest judges. Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian will come to the modeling competition in separate episodes when the show debuts the 13th cycle this Fall.
Lauren's appearance is scheduled for the second episode on September 16, while Kim's is put on the October 21 slot. These stars will sit on the judging panel, joining host Tyra Banks, photographer Nigel Barker and runway coach Miss Jay. Missing from the line-up is Paulina Porizkova who was let go as judge by producers in May to cut the budget.
The 13th cycle is premiering September 9. This time around, the show is lining a group of petite models who are 5'7" and under. "There have been top supermodels in the past that weren't as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss," said Tyra in the press release. »
