Jonathan Rhys Meyers has admitted that he does not enjoy filming sex scenes. The Irish actor, who has insisted that having sex with about 20 people is "not so much", revealed that he dislikes shooting sex scenes because make-up has to be applied to his bottom. A new, heat-packing poster for Pierrel Morel’s “From Paris With Love”. The movie has Jonathan Rhys Meyers playing a Paris-based low-ranking intelligence operative working in the U.S. Ambassador’s Office, who is ordered to partner with a wisecracking, fast-shooting, high-ranking U.S. agent played by John Travolta. The wisecracking agent’s mission? Stop an impending terrorist attack, which apparently includes blowing up half of Paris to do it. Hey, whatever works, right? A low-ranking intelligence operative (Meyers) working in the office of the U.S. Ambassador in France takes on more than he bargained for when he partners with a wisecracking, fast-shooting, high-ranking U.S. agent (Travolta) who’s been sent to Paris to stop a terrorist attack.
“From Paris with Love” is directed by French filmmaker Pierre Morel (The Transporter, Taken), stars John Travolta (The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, Pulp Fiction) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors, Mission Impossible: III). The film also stars Kasia Smutniak, Amber Rose Revah, Melissa Mars, Richard Durden and Farid Elouardi.
Luc Besson (The Transporter, Fifth Element, Taken, Danny the Dog) and Adi Hasak (Shadow Conspiracy) penned the screenplay.
“From Paris With Love” is set to hit theatres on February 19th, 2010.

Since his career resurrection in 1994, John Travolta’s hits have dried up a great deal. He’s still A-list, but he’s coasting on past successes. Could Luc Besson and Pierre Morel be providing him with a new hit? From Paris With Love, judging from the excellent trailer, looks set to give Travolta a needed boost. Even the poster looks great!

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has a busy few months coming up. In addition to saying goodbye to his popular Showtime series “The Tudors,” which begins airing its fourth and final season in January, the Irish actor will also premiere his film with John Travolta, “From Paris With Love,” and begin shooting another project with Kevin Bacon in Belfast. “From Paris With Love” is a spy caper set in France, and it opens on February 5. Check out the trailer here. It looks pretty interesting. Meanwhile, Jrm will try his hand at comedy with Bacon in a project called “Whole Lotta Sole,” which is due to be filmed in Belfast. Almost exactly a year after Taken stormed American theaters, director Pierre Morel will return with From Paris With Love, a great title for a movie that is about the exact opposite. Oh sure, it's Paris, but love is probably the wrong emotion.
The film stars John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte or Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan or Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Only in France. I hate to be so reductive about it, but it's an oil-and-water cop movie; the rest is just details.
However, From Paris with Love has some of the coolest posters in the game this year. The first, a flip of the Eiffel Tower as a gun, is terrific, and I like these new character posters, too. Click to enlarge: »

Two new posters have been debuted for John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers new movie, From Paris with Love on CraveOnline. It’s directed by Pierre Morel who previously brought us Taken starring Liam Neeson which did surprisingly well at the box office.
It’s set to be released 12th March in the UK and it looks like we might see a different side to Travolta in what looks like his comedy action role. If you’ve not seen it, check out the trailer which I posted a while ago and then click the images below to enlarge.

On Friday, November 6, Showtime has announced the premiere date for TV debut of Robert Pattinson's "Twilight". The show has been scheduled to be premiered on Saturday, January 23. Along with the announcement, Showtime also confirmed the return of Edie Falco-starring series "Nurse Jackie". Its second season will be debuted on Monday, March 22 at 10:00 P.M.
On the same day, Showtime will premiere Toni Collette's show "United States of Tara". The second season of the comedy series is going to be aired at 10:30 P.M. Moreover, "The Tudors" will begin its final season of chronicling King Henry VIII, the character portrayed by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, on Sunday, April 11.
Beside all of those shows, the new seasons of "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" and "Tracey Ullman's State of the Union" are also on their way early next year. Both of the TV shows are going to be aired on Monday, »

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is set to star alongside Kevin Bacon in a new comedy, “Whole Lotta Sole.” The film will begin shooting in Belfast, Ireland in 2010. “The Tudors” star Rhys Meyers will play a thief who attempts to steal from a fish market, and takes Bacon’s character hostage in the process. According to Entertainment Tonight, the Irish actor’s character fights to stay one step ahead of both the police and a local gangster. “My Dog Skip” director Jay Russell has signed on to direct the comedy, which was written by Thomas Gallagher and “Hotel Rwanda” screenwriter Terry George. Showtime has announced the air dates for some its highly-anticipated programming for first and second quarter 2010. Highlighting the new schedule will be a Monday comedy block pairing of the second season of Showtime's acclaimed Nurse Jackie starring Emmy award-winner Edie Falco leading into the second season of The United States of Tara showcasing Toni Collette in her Emmy award-winning title role. Nurse Jackie will premiere on Monday, March 22 at 10:00 Pm Et/Pt followed by The United States of Tara at 10:30 Pm Et/Pt.

Pierre Morel, director of the wonderful guilty pleasure that is Taken, has signed on to direct Signals, a thriller that’s said to be in the same vein as Three Days Of The Condor.It won’t be the Frenchman’s follow-up to the hugely enjoyable Liam Neeson action thriller, which grossed $224 million globally. That’s From Paris With Love, an actioner starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Travolta, which hits early next year.Since Taken took over the world, though, Morel has attached himself to a Tokyo-set thriller for Paramount, and Universal’s Pursuit. Whether Signals has jumped ahead in the queue remains unclear at this time. But the dude clearly has a thing for one-word titles.Richard Potter and Matthew Stravitz wrote the screenplay for Signals, the story of which remains under wraps for now.
