What directors who made a splash with one independent movie, say somehting like "Straight Out of Brooklyn" and Alexandre Rockwell's "In the Soup", and (more or less) haven't been heard of in five years or longer, made an impression on you as having great talent but, for whatever reason, lacked the commerical crossover?
